Making an Impact: Transforming the Student Experience

Call for Proposals:

Educators are invited to share their expertise and experiences in advancing student learning through evidence-based practice. The conference theme "Making an Impact: Transforming the Student Experience" invites faculty to explore questions such as how can research inform my
teaching and enhance the student learning experience-how do students learn best, what does the research say about approaches to teaching and learning that are most effective? Which innovations are working well?


Proposals are invited in the areas of experiential learning, scholarship of teaching and learning, flexible learning, metacognition, technology use in the classroom, internationalizing curriculum, interdisciplinary learning experiences, assessment in higher education or any general teaching and learning innovation.

All interested individuals or groups are invited to submit proposals for 45-minute sessions. Each session is expected to include an interactive component. Formats may include discussions, round tables, and presentations.
