Room EME 1101 (fixed desks, chairs on wheels, capacity 80)

Audiovisual equipment:

  • Laptop computer with Windows 7, PowerPoint 2016, Adobe Acrobat, web browsers
  • Laptop is equipped with a presentation remote/clicker to advance your slides
  • Whiteboard at front of room (partially covered by projector screen)

We don’t want to waste time connecting each presenter’s laptop and trouble-shooting before and after each presentation. Instead, all presentations will run off the conference-supplied laptop. Presentations will be pre-loaded with your file(s):

Please email your presentation to Vania Chan vania.chan@ubc.ca
before the end of Monday, May 1, 2017.
Use filename PresenterName_Title (“Jones_EngagingStudents.pptx”)

If you will be showing video, please contact Vania Chan vania.chan@ubc.ca
to make arrangements to transfer your video.

If you make revisions to your presentation, bring it on a USB chip. You can load it onto the laptop during the breaks between sessions.

Twenty minutes includes a brief introduction by the session Chair and any Q&A that follows your presentation.
