Looking for Deep Conversations about Teaching and Learning?
Join a Faculty Learning Community
Are you looking to participate in deeper conversations about teaching and learning but don’t have the time or resources to join a discussion group “for life”? Then a Faculty Learning Communities is just what you’re looking for. Here’s what you need to know:
- Groups will meet for a limited time – 2 months, 6 meetings, 1 day, or whatever the group decides – to dig deep into a topic
- You’ll work together to create something – a webpage, 1-pager, resource list, video – to share with the wider community.
- The Centre for Teaching and Learning will handle the arrangements.
We know there is already interest in conversations about on teaching large classes, diversity in the classroom, and learning analytics. And we invite you to suggest additional topics we’ll add to the list.
If you’re interested in joining one of these conversations, please complete this form. We’ll get back to you soon with information about the first meetings in early October!
We will update this list with people’s suggestions for additional topics, so if you don’t see anything yet, check back again at a later date.
