We'll spend the afternoon experiencing learning first hand, on field trips and hikes, in classrooms and labs, on campus and in the community. You'll have an opportunity participate in activities like

  • analyzing soils samples in the wetland behind the UBC Okanagan campus
  • 3D printing
  • exploring the UBC Okanagan Learning Garden and Pond Trail
  • playing an intercultural simulation game
  • examining microscopic life with a scanning electron microscope
  • cataloguing and collecting plants native to the Okanagan Valley
  • providing health care for 6-year-old Parker and the rest of the "simfamily"
  • and many more activities
