My key knowledge areas: Learning Technology Support, Full Stack website Development and Management, Newsletter Design, Agile Methodologies, Graphic Design, Automation.

My role within the team: As a Learning Technologies Rover at CTL, I support professors, TAs, and students in resolving learning technology challenges, managing updates for the CTL website, designing and creating web pages, and contributing to the CTL monthly newsletter. My role ensures seamless integration of technology into education, promoting innovative and effective learning experiences across the campus.

My background: I am a Bachelor of Science student at UBC, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics, with a strong foundation in programming, database management, and web development. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a diverse skill set, gaining hands-on experience as both a Teaching Assistant and Junior Developer. These roles have allowed me to sharpen my technical abilities while fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment for students. In addition to my technical expertise, I have honed my problem-solving skills, exemplified by my achievement as a Bronze Medalist at the ICPC 2024, and received prestigious recognitions such as the MasterCard Scholarship for Women in Computer Science, the Faculty of Science International Student Award, and the Dr. Lesley Cormack Award for International Students.

My ultimate passion lies in leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences and drive innovation. I aspire to become a professor who combines research, teaching, and mentorship to inspire and empower future generations of learners 🙂

When I’m not working… You’ll find me SpeedCubing (without the speed!), rewatching Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, or Modern Family, or diving into puzzles, competitive programming, and algorithmic challenges. I am also a huge music enthusiast and can never get enough of it.
