Benefit from dedicated time in a collaborative space with constructive feedback from colleagues to produce a well-thought-out course plan.

Celebrate Learning Week

From May 4 to May 8, 2026, the Provosts and Vice-President Academic from UBCO and UBCV will collaboratively present this cross-campus week-long initiative showcasing teaching and learning at UBC through open lectures, poster sessions, panel discussions, workshops and more. UBC faculty, staff and students as well as community members are encouraged to participate in Celebrate Learning Week by attending and/or coordinating events.

Submit an event for CLW by March 31st. Contribute a formal session or creative activity that celebrates learning in action.

Communities of Practice, also known as Faculty Learning Communities, provide spaces for exploring shared topics of interest and having critical discussion across disciplines.

The Centre for Teaching and Learning currently facilitates the following active Communities of Practice:
