Teaching Development Program

October 2026 – May 2027

The Teaching Development Program (TDP) for new faculty supports UBC Okanagan instructors in their professional development through a small cohort-based approach. It is designed for early-career faculty who teach credit courses, allowing them to grow and connect with other educators across disciplines in a facilitated, supportive, and accountable space. The TDP curriculum consists of 45-50 hours of self-paced engagement through a multi-access, multiple means of engagement approach. Utilizing asynchronous components, participants will have the opportunity to self-direct their learning while having dedicated in-person opportunities for networking and community building.
