This micro credential will develop your ability to assess the strengths and limitations of various learning technologies and align them with specific learning outcomes.
Overview of PROGRAM and Outcomes
- Analyze and critique the strengths, weaknesses, and pedagogical value of various learning technologies.
- Identify and justify the selection of technologies that align with specific teaching objectives, course design, and student learning outcomes.
- Design a plan to effectively integrate technology into a learning environment, considering how it enhances engagement, assessment, collaboration, and knowledge retention.
- Demonstrate how educational technologies can be utilized to achieve particular learning outcomes, enhancing student learning experiences and supporting diverse learners.
- Engage in reflective practice to evaluate how educational technologies can support or challenge traditional teaching methods and improve learning environments in higher education.
- Incorporate relevant research and examples of best practices in educational technology to inform decisions about integrating technology into teaching.
