My key knowledge areas: Arts education, event coordination, student support, curriculum development, and building inclusive, welcoming environments. I also bring skills in administrative support, customer service, and team coordination.
My role within the team: I support the team with administrative tasks, event coordination, and day-to-day operations, including managing calendars, meetings, finance, HR, and facilities requests. My background as a teacher has given me a strong foundation in organization, communication, and adaptability, which I bring to my role. I’m committed to creating smooth processes and providing reliable support so that the team’s projects and events can thrive.
My background: I have a BFA in Interdisciplinary Performance and a BEd focused on teaching adolescents. I have taught theatre and English, where I worked to create inclusive, engaging classrooms that supported diverse learners and encouraged students to express themselves with confidence. I also led a children’s summer theatre camp in my hometown of Terrace, BC, where I wrote original plays tailored to my students’ unique personalities and strengths for performances that brought the community together. Alongside my teaching, I work in the catering industry as a lead server, where I have developed strong skills in leadership, team coordination, and creating positive experiences for diverse groups of people.
When I’m not working…You can find me swimming, spending time at the beach, going on walks, and baking. I love visiting local farmers markets with my partner to source fresh, local food and support community growers. Many of my family members have recently relocated from Terrace, BC to the Okanagan, making this area feel even more like home.
