One of the core principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is providing multiple means of Representation. This includes using diverse languages, symbols, and formats to foster shared understanding and perception. Dr. Summer Li from UBCO Chemistry embraced this principle by transforming her course syllabus into a visual and interactive format using H5P, which she embedded directly into Canvas. Dr. Li and the CTL created a resource to show you how. Access the Visual Interactive Syllabus resource.
