Canvas has made some recent updates in July which can help streamline workflow for instructors. Here are some highlights:
Discussions now provide an option of anonymity. The instructor has the option of setting up an anonymous Discussion. which enables students to choose whether to remain visible or engage with full anonymity.
Modules and Pages can now be assigned to specific sections and students in a course. This is now consistent with the way in which Assignments and Quizzes may be created.
Canvas Inbox now provides an option for an auto response message as well as an email signature.
