Did you have a chance to check out the updated UDL Guidelines (version 3)? The UDL Guidelines are a tool used in the implementation of Universal Design for Learning, a framework to proactively enhance access and participation to meaningful learning for as many people as possible.
One of the new considerations reads:
- “Nurture joy and play” (under the guideline Designing Options for Welcoming Interests & Identities in Designing Multiple Means of Engagement)
